Help! Help! Help! Help! Help!
Okay everyone. I have also joined with a friend to make the group Mizuki Scans. It is a new group that needs help in all positions, especially translators and editors/cleaners/typesetters.
One thing that Mizuki Scans is offering all of the people that translate and edit is first choice on the projects that get done. Right now there are a couple of projects listed. These projects haven’t had releases by any other group for at least 200 days. Mizuki Scans does not look at upcoming lists because you never know how long they are going to be there until somebody does something.
They are:
There Will Be an Angel to Love You Instead of Me
Crab Kiss
The Moment When a Fox Becomes a Wolf
Idol Paradise – Just finishing it up.
Princess Finds
Imitation Love
When the Fox Becomes the Wolf
Umi no Kishidan
Anybody wanting to help out on these or more projects, you can contact Mizuki Scans at mizukiscans@gmail.com or email me at shuri77601@gmail.com.
Note: A really cool idea that we had for this group is to let members help decide on the projects that we do. We have set it up so that you can request a project and each request will get a number. We will then go in order of request as to what gets done. There are a couple of rules to follow regarding this. Just check it out on the site and please sign up to be a member. You can at least have fun in the forum until we get some releases kicked out.
Note: I only wanted to be staff in this group. I have my hands full with being an admin at Pink Rose. Airi has final say and control over everything.
I am also still one of the admin at Pink Rose Scans. We are off the ground have released some projects. In order to move faster, the following positions are still needed:
- editors – straighten page, leveling, cleaning up specks, get rid of gutter, some redrawing, etc using photo editing software such as Adobe PhotoShop (recommended).
- typesetters – input translations into textboxes, sound effects using photo editing software such as Adobe PhotoShop (recommended).
- translators – Anybody that knows Korean, Japanese, and Chinese especially. These are the languages that most raws come from.
- scanners/raw providers – Either finding items on the internet or scanning items yourself. Knowing emule, IRC, or Bitorrent is definitely a plus.
Anyone wanting to help out can post here or check out our forum at Pink Rose Scans where you can PM one of the admins (Shuri, Lat, or Hira), post a message in our recruiting section, or email us. We would like somebody with some experience but, are willing to train. Our group will not worry about editing out all sound effects. Just the ones that don’t require a ton of redrawing. We would much rather leave the big ones in that will require tons of time and work and spend our time doing more pages instead.
Thanks in advance to anyone that want to help.
